Living in the Cincy area we have the Moeller show twice a year along with a few once a month shows which I no longer attend as it seems the sellers seem to think ex-mt cards are gold. I may go to buy supplies and a few packs to bust but overall it's not worth the petrol. Since I quit selling on Ebay I have made more money selling in person. Cincy has at least a dozen full and part time Baseball card geeks which I consider myself one, image

There are a few card shops around the area search Beckett or the phone book and you will find a few.

As far as shows goes, twice a year there is the Philly show which has now moved out to Reading, PA after the Fort Washington Expo center closed up shop. The next one is in September. This is a national show with many of the big dealers and grading companies present.

The Franklin Mills and Granite Run Mall also have shows approximately Bi-monthly. Nothing like during the hay days, but good enough to buy some new wax and pick up some harder to get cards for your personal collection. Check Beckett.com for shows in the Delaware Valley.
  • There are threads all over the forum with local cardshops/shows.

  • I almost posted a thread Thursday about the same topic. We had one good card shop in our area, Toms Triple Play. Tom was just a local collector with an unbelievable personal collection. Great place to pick up NRMT/MT vintage commons or even high end wax. Had about an hour to kill Thursday and was in the neighborhood. The card shop is now a weight loss center. Looked in the phone book when I got home to verify that the shop was in fact closed. Sad day.
