1977 Topps Rusty Staub, PSA 10 - SCAN added

I am very stoked that I just garnered the very first PSA 10 Staub from 1977 on my latest sub. I know I am being entirely self-congratulatory here and not many of you really care much about this card. But, what the heck, it is late on a Friday night and not many will likely see this post anyhow. I collect Topps AS cards from 75 thru 80 and this card is a really greatget for me. I now have 7 of 18 1977 Topps All-Stars in PSA 10. image Three were my own raw submissions, so these are even nicer in my eyes. I will post a scan once I get the card back in the mail for anyone interested. The card is a real blazer.

In addition, my company softball team won 16-15 tonight and I dropped two bombs.

Okay, my juvenile self-adulation session is now over. image (Please don't start comparing me to Plifter, I didn't and will not post any photos of me in action).

Here's the scan. She's a beauty.

Now, that is funny, Yankeeno. It's a small message-board world! image

Even in a set full of beautiful cards, that one is a standout.

I've always wondered if the ball went out.
  • Congrats....77s are undervalued and alot harder than people think to find Gem Mint. I keep wondering when this set will get popular with collectors.

Great job, Bobby!! Those 77s are TOUGH to find in gem mint condition, and very undervalued, IMO, due to chipping and centering issues. To find a 1/1? Well, it doesn't get any better than that! Congrats!!

Of course it did. image At least that is what I choose to believe, just like the Kingman!

    Bobby,
You've GOT to post a scan of that card. With the common Fisheye, and stray print, I didn't think that we would ever see a 10 on that card.
    Very nice.

    Edited for Grammer.

Nice job Bobby, that is one of my favorite cards of all-time, from an era when players wore socks the way they were meant to be worn:

In case anyone cares, that picture of Staub was taken in Baltimore's Memorial Stadium
