Goudeys'

I've had these for a little while and was planning to try to sell them on the BST forum. Before i offered them though i wanted opinions as to whether or not that are legit, or have been trimmed. I have 27 of them but i'm only showing 8 so as not to take up too much space. I would appreciate any opinions or thoughts.

Thanks.

It's funny you say that. Look at his face, there could be a little resemblence.

All appear fine -- the Manush is very appealing with nice centering!
  • Do you have a Leo Durocher, Dizzy Dean or Dazzy Vance?

They look legit to me, although in regards to trimming I'd probably want to take a closer look at the '33 Suhr. The upper left corner looks like it might be a bit off.

    Authentic.

Match them up to each other and see if they are all the same size. R319 and R320 dont vary in size so they should match up exactly.

I beg to differ with regard to this comment. They do vary in size. Not as drastically or as often as early Playball, Leaf or Bowman, but there are size variances. The variations are even more apparent when varying in condition as these are due to wear and softness of the edges.

To clarify, when stacked, Goudeys will be more consistent in size than the other issues I mentioned, but there may still be some variance.

    Thanks for the input.
  • Definitely authentic. The Suhr looks a little suspicious though. But it's hard to say.
