Not that I am complaining but I still cant believe the people who dont snipe..

I have a 1988 Topps Football Bo Jackson PSA 10 on ebay right now. I listed it as a 7 day auction just last night. 5 days, 23 hours left and the bidding war has started. Card is already up over 32.00. Now, Im not complaining...lets see that baby go up but why? I dont expect cards to bid high until the very end. Guess there are still some old schoolers out there.

    As a seller I don't get concerned anymore if my item is well below what I expect to get with an hour... 10 minutes... 5 minutes left. Seems like most people snipe for sure.

    I have snipped before, but I don't do it on a regular basis. I bid on a few hundred auctions a week and simply don't have time to put in snipes for all of them. I just put my bid in and wait. I do get OUTBID in the last seconds a lot and often I am the outbid by .50 or so and that really irks me on some auctions but nothing I will loose sleep over.

    $32 is a good price...it will likely go closer to $50...a year ago they were $75. I would like one but will likely wait till they hit around $25 (or be happy with my 9).

    I don't snipe anymore unless I won't be around a computer near an items end time. I use BigCrumbs.com to earn money back for buying on ebay. You have to bid through a BigCrumbs link so snipes don't work with it.

    Here's how much cash back I've gotten in the past year, so its been worth it to me not sniping much:

    Total Earned: $280.04

    i dont snipe, i just bid what i want to pay; sometimes ill wait till the last minute; makes it a bit more exciting.
