Ok, I like the resources, and have even adjusted some of my snipes due to some research. It also showed me why i kept losing on a card i have been wanting.

2 thumbs up for the resources at least.

The interface is odd, like why you can't enter the year and player, instead of having to enter one or the other, and then find the second choice...Am i overlooking that? It is a little cumbersome in a lot of ways, but the resources are there.

Question though, why does it start nolan ryan at 1969 instead of 1968?

    From what I read on the boards it falls under a dual player card since it has two different players.

    Congrats on busting out the wallet and taking the big plunge. I hope you will be able to recover from such a tremendous expenditure.

    My biggest complaint about VCP is that the frustration of multiple clicks to get the information I need is compounded by the (often) slow response times of the site. There have been a number of times where the site was essentially useless due to performance... and this was late at night on the west coast when I would not anticipate a lot of users on.

    It has also rendered by browser unresponsive more than once to the point where I had to go into Windows and kill the application. This seems to happen from time to time after searching by a manufacturer, clicking on the year of the set I want to view, and it is trying to load the first 25 cards of the checklist.

    The speed of the site is faster than it was, but a bit slower than average for the internet. It would be also more efficient if the number of clicks to obtain the desired info could be reduced. Outside of extremely low pop common cards that rarely come up for auction, though (for set builders), the info it provides is very helpful and will definitely save you the membership fee many times over.


    Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.

    To answer a few questions:

    In order to find all the cards for a player you need to click on the "include multi-player cards" and then they will all show. This is mostly for newer cards and hope to fix that in the future. Either way it has made the search process much faster then what it was a few weeks ago.

    We are in the process of some major additions to the site but are planning on revising the search area. There will be other searches to make it faster to get to the card you want to find in less clicks.
