An amusing "rip" story....

SO I'm ripping an 89 Fleer Basketball box that I bought at the WSSCA show yesterday for $30...open a pack and the first four cards are:

Buck Williams
John Williams
Reggie Williams
Herb Williams

Four players in a row with the same last name...

Anybody else ever had something similar happen to them with another common last name like Jones or Smith?

Can you believe the people who work at sportscard companies? Putting cards of 4 different players with the last name Williams into one pack is unconscionable. I never liked people who had that line of work. They need to get a real job.

Still one of my favorite Lions ever even though he missed that blasted field goal that would have put the Lions in the NFC Championship game. I can still see Monte Clark praying on the sideline prior to the kick.

I once got an O.J. Simpson card and a Kobe Bryant card in the same pack. The sticker card of the white Laker girl was trembling in the back of the pack.
