It has 4 or 5 sharp corners; I don't know about the other 3.

Ouch. And they got a 52 Topps Eddie Mathews too. Only the best to hack up.

Wow, I didn't see the Mathews until you mentioned it.

  • I saw that auction last night. Actually thought it was a pretty cool scrapbook and I feel certain the Mantle is authentic.
  • Ya think PSA would grade this "A"? If so wonder how much it'd sell for.

$150 +..................................People have money to burn.

  • I see someone has come one and offered him $700 to end early & he refused. Wow. $700 for a piece of a card? I think I'd rather have a nice '61 or '62 for that kinda coin, but what do I know?

You really believe someone offered him 700.00? They both just happen to write in all caps too.

It's both a fascinating relic and makes me say "OUCH" -- but no, wouldn't want to own it for anything over $50 or $100. It would pain me too much to look at it!

I am currently the high bidder, and I DON"T have money to burn (but a little bit to gamble image ). I just think it's a neat item image

Yep, trash, manure, fake, counterfeit, ugly, despicable, wouldn't even pass PRO or GEM, not worth the shipping fee, etc.

(now, no one else bid so I can win image )

I figure what the heck, more fun than throwing $200.00 down on the 3rd 12 of a roulette wheel and having an almost 33% chance of winning $400.00 and a 67% chance of losing $200.00. The roulette spin would only keep me entertained for about 20 seconds, where I will get several days entertainment out of this if I win while waiting to see if I can get an AUTH. I still remember seeing about a 1/3 of a T206 Wagner in a display case at the National one year that had been graded by either PSA or SGC (don't remember which one, so I know if it's authentic, they'll slab it)
