Another really old game - Roulette Base Ball Game 1929

This just came in today!
Roulette Base Ball Game - 1929 - W. Bartholomae patent pending.

This one was on my hit list for 4 yrs! Thought I'ld never see one! That doesn't mean it didn't come up and I missed it tho. But, still a great old game for the board collector.
This looks like the kind of game a kid could take on a long road trip with the parents and play for hours.

<< <i>That's pretty cool, I didn't realize just how many baseball related board games there were until you started posting all of your great finds. >>
Thanx!
You have no idea how grateful I am for ebay!
Before ebay, I was lucky to see one board game every year! And then they wanted too much for it!

Is there a lot of compitition for bidding on these games ?
Man I look at these games and I can not help but wonder what the person was like that played them , or who they may have been and stuff like that .
The stories they could tell if they could speak would be priceless .
<< <i>You have a pretty cool collection of games , that is an oldie right there , it is really nice condition for it's age too .

So true Anthony.
That's the fun in collecting! I think of that all the time - we're in the computer age - these kids had to use most of their imagination when playing with these games.
Children thought differently about the world - good thing? Not really - just different.
Kids take their world for granted and think history started the day they were born.
It's like in an episode of Beavis and Butthead - Beavis asks Butthead: "Hey Butthead - when was TV invented?" Butthead: "there's always been TV buttmunch! Just less channels."
Kids - ya gotta lovem!
Collecting brings out the little kid in all of us!

Thanx Anthony
Games that come up on a major auction seem to attract more competition than ebay for some reason.
I'll keep an eye on it.
