Anyone a member of Vintage Card Prices.com?

Is anyone here a member of VCP? What do you think about the site? Is it helpful?

  • I am. If you buy or sell vintage cards its a must. I found a similar site for modern basketball & football. Just wish there was one for hockey.

That's great News.... can't wait to see some more modern stuff - it will really help with player collections for players that span into the 90's

  • I am, it's great. Easily worth the small monthly fee if you do even a small amount of buying or selling each month.

So, this is for the greater good - In the set registry thread, we're talking about how to adjust weighting if it's severely off. is anyone willing to pull a VCP report on 1957 Topps football in PSA 8? JasP believes we can request rating adjustment based on PSA 8 sale prices from VCP as long as it's well thought out and proven info. Please let me know if you're willing. I'll then put together an email and post results of my contact with PSA here so we can find out if it was done correctly and what their response was. Thanks

after reading this post I just joined with a yearly membership. I tried searching under hockey and basketball and did not find the players I was searching for. I used Gordie Howe and Larry Bird for what its worth. Do they only keep a history for baseball??? If so I got taken

You have to first click on Hockey or Basketball. The default always starts at Baseball so you have to click on the different sport you want to look up.

Very useful and money-saving site. I wish that its server were a little faster, though, as it often seems to bog down, which is annoying since you need a couple of clicks to get the info you need for a particular card.

  • 54 Topps,

Like you were already told you need to make sure you click the sport icon you are looking for values. As well you need to enter the players last name only. We just did some major updates end of last week to make the site faster and it has been blazing for me on my DSL connection with Verizon. We have some new programs going in place very soon that will be the last of the major upgrades. Afterwards we have about 50 more smaller applications to add to the site which will include better search functions with less clicks to get you to where you want faster.

We really appreciate your patronage and are really trying hard to make the site great for everyone.

    Thanks
