Wrong forum, try the stamps BST. You should have taken the $1,100.00. Face value sells heavily discounted from face. The rest of it, to be honest, looks rather bland and ordinary. Mid 20th century modern issue stamps are usually not worth much.

Yup. $1,100 would have been a windfall. Probably 3X what most dealers would pay.
