To peel or not to peel...that is the question....

Finest coatings. Do you peel them before submission or leave them? They look a lot nicer peeled of course. Does it matter???

  • The peel is what they'll be grading not the actual surface of the card. I peel mine too. But I guess if you look at the peel under magnification and it doesn't have any flaws you might get a 10 for surface. I haven't found too many that would rate a 10 though but I'm sure there are some.

    I'm working on a 1993-97 Finest run and I too committ sacriledge and peel the cards. image I also hope to get the Mantle/Mays/Clemente/Ryan/Aaron Finest sets someday too.
