It's not like him to disappear. Anyone speak to him lately? Hope all is well and he is just getting ready for the July 4th holiday.

    Rube must be doing ok. I looked at his ebay store and his FB...he has left FB as early as yesterday (May 15th). Maybe he is just taking a break from here. We've all done it and all have needed it at one time or another. Im sure we'll hear from the man again soon enough.

    I don't think that just because his store is leaving feedback that means that he is in fact OK ?

    I believe he told me one time his son also runs the site as well .

    It is not like him to completely ignore his P/M's .

    Why would anyone need a break from here ?
    It not like this place is any kind of strain on the body or mind ?

    I don't like it . . .

    Maybe he started losing a little interest in the site when he decided to stop upgrading his 1950 Bowman set. Also, I think that he once mentioned that he has a lot of land to take care of, and when Spring rolls around it's necessary for him to be outside more. If anyone is worried about him health-wise, you could always win one of his eBay items, request his contact info, and give him a call.

    I'm willing to take a 30 minute ride down the road to see how he is, but I'll need everyone to pitch in for life insurance for me in case I'm killed trying to get onto the compound image

    That statement has me thinking way too much now . . .
    I can see that place with all kinds of booby traps rigged and stuff .

    I don't think I would go walking onto that property uninvited , I'd rather walk onto a live firing range , I think i would have a better shot getting out of there alive .

    He probably hopes and prays for things like this to happen . .

    Even the birds have a no fly zone withing 2 miles of the property.

    Instead of driving, find out his PO and send a letter. You're better off that way. There's no way you're gonna find him. I'm pretty sure he wears stealth clothing.
