Card creation's.............

Have any of you very talented folks who make the new card designs of certain years ever thought about putting football players on baseball card designs ??
I would love to see something like Joe Montana on a 1975 Topps baseball design or Johnny U on a 52 Topps.

No requests per se but I think it'd be fun to see some tallboy issues recreated. Wouldn't it be cool to see Kevin Garnett on a 69 Topps Tallboy? How about Chris Paul, Deron Williams and Steve Nash on a 80-81 Tri Topps card (would mimic the 2 rookies - 1 star Magic/Bird/Erving) from 2005-06. How about a Tom Brady on a 1965 Topps Tallboy?

I have a new appreciation for this. I'm a photoshop guy but this is hard. Here is my first attempt. I'm anxious to keep reading these threads now!!! I'l get better but I figured since I wanted to see a custom tallboy...

also, if anyone has any better way to smooth edges without the blur tool, I'd love advice

All very nice. I will be the first to admit I am a sucker for these cards. Last year Topps had Larry Bird the missing years and they were all on early to mid 1980's baseball designs. I was a big fan of Topps All Time Fan Favorites in 2004 and 2005. I just waiting for the day when Topps heritage usese the 1982 design. Of course I will be 50 when that happens.

I loved those Larry Bird inserts in 06-07 Topps too. The Missing Bill Russell Years in 07-08 were fantastic too. It'd be great if they were to do a Jerry West or Bob Pettit or even Chamberlain missing years in 08-09. Fantastic idea. Me? I'm looking forward to when Topps Heritage does 1965 - that should be an awesome looking set...be curious to see how they're going to do 62 also.
