psa shipping slow??

has anybody had slow return times on their psa subs???
mine was shipped 5/5 and the mail went today and still nothing...
usually I don't worry.. but I am starting to be concerned..
a person I know is going over 3 weeks.. and found out his sub wasn't shipped
certified by psa... psa stated it was a issue they were having with their post office...

I have never asked my carrier if it was certified... just assumed it was..
is it possible it is only being sent with signature confirmation???

I don't save the email with the tracking # so i have no # to crosscheck its whereabouts

hopefully it is sent certified and I will have it.. but his issues have really alarmed me.

Both of my recent subs have taken 5 days Registered mail to get to SC.

The last 3 subs I have gotten back have taken over 2 weeks... I would not worry about registered mail it will show up. I normally have to give my first born before the post office will give me the package.

Same deal as leathtech. My 7 day truraroud took me almost 2 weeks to get after grades were posted.

How do you think I feel Oakesy... I had two orders ship out on April 29th, I received one of them back on May 6th, but it is now 10 days later and I still have not received the other one which shipped out on the exact same day. What makes it even more worrying, is that I have already received back items that where shipped out on both May 1st and May 7th. I have a hard time believing that it is because of registered mail taking a little bit longer then regular mail. Nothing even shows up on the US post office website when I type in the Registered mail tracking number that Psa emailed me. And when I type in the delivery confirmation number it always says the same thing

Shipment Accepted; April 29, 2008, 6:10 pm, NEWPORT BEACH, CA 92658

I had 2 subs ship out on April 30th, both arrived on May 24th in Wisconsin. They mailed out (via first class) a voucher for 2 miscuts that they didn't grade on 5/6 and I had it on 5/9.

As for tracking the Registered # at USPS.com, mine didn't track with that, either. In fact, the Delivery Confirmation number said the same thing "Shipment Accepted; April 30..." until the day it was delivered. No need to worry too much...the package will arrive. If you're really concerned, stop in at your local post office and ask them about it.

Gumbyfan, I already contacted my local post office and provided them with all of my information. They found this situation to be very strange and asked me to contact the U.S. Postal Inspector. When I contacted the Postal Inspector, they informed me that my item was NOT sent out as a Registered mail item, and that it was NOT insured. I AM NOT SAYING THAT THIS IS PSA'S FAULT (Just wanted to make that clear), but I have been in touch with the Newport Beach post office, Psa, my local post office, the Post Master from my local post office, US postal inspector, and received a call from the U.S. Post office customer relations department and not one person can tell me where my package is. From what I understand about registered mail, the post office should be able to tell who the last person was that even touched my item. But, they can't even tell me which state my package is in!! I have a couple of 0 pop 10's in there, what will they be worth if some other 10's pop before I get them?? About as much as I would get from an insurance payoff... Nothing or next to nothing.
