My Grandmother , who had an extensive from circulation collection all in Whitmans (which I now have half, and my granddaughter has the other half)... She taught me to use a clean dry washcloth and a round ended cloths pin. The coin is covered put in on an angle and forced in with the wooden pin. It did work real nice, the ones I put into my books back in the sixties are free from that fingerprint smudge, that you see on a lot of RB coins....and you wonder, ? how did that fingerprint get there on this nice coin...well it was that greasy fingered kid pushing it into his whitman book fifty years ago
