Wasn't there just a 10 cent listing day? He might have wanted to throw up a bunch of auctions he could edit later, and just threw up that title, price, and description so no one would bid on anything...

Ah! Don't sell much, didn't know there was a .10 listing day. Thanks.
At first it just looked odd that someone was asking $4k for any Griffey rc and listed dozens of them.
<< <i>Griffey is closing in on 600 HR so I would almost put my money on an idiot seller trying to make a quick buck. Or in this case $3,995.

Hardly the case, here.
It's quite simple. $.10 listing day for powersellers, and the guy was not prepared ahead of time with scans and descriptions, so he just posted a bunch of auctions to be edited later, with the actual cards he wants to sell. That way, he gets in on the $.10 listing time period, and can work his listings into his schedule, when the time is right for him.
And by the way, spikes is/has a history of being a big Griffey collector.

Which is against ebay policy and pretty lame if you ask me. People that have to weed through that much crap all of the time must get pretty pissed.
