Had a dream I went back into time buying packs

Strange dream that I ended up in a town similar to Mayberry. Even the town was black & white until I spotted a bookstore. Once I entered the store, the colors came back lol; kinda like the Wizard of Oz when Dorothy opened her door revealing the magic of technicolor. Apparently, I realized that I was back in 1963 (don't ask me why). I was in the back of this book store looking at all the comic books such as Daredevil, Astonishing Tales , etc. (all 10 cents & 12 cents) and kept hearing a little voice up front. The storekeeper was an old man and he kept asking, "anything I can help you with sonny?" I asked him if he had any bubble gum cards. He said "yep, come up front." When I got up front, he showed me a different assortment of what he had.....I saw baseball, and hockey but didn't recognize the packs. He said that over on that side of the wall, I should find some more stuff that I might be interested in. When I got to the wall, I found packs arranged in a pack sorter. The kind we see today in that's similar to a 5,000 count box, but spaced to fit packs. His sorter was made out of wood, and I spotted early 60s packs....from 1960 to 1963. I asked him he had any older packs from the 50s and he said he had a box of 57s which he went to get.
While he went to retrieve them, I found some 1933-34 V357 Ice Kings, and 1936 OPC V304D cards that was loose sitting in the sorter and pulled a Turk Broda and Howie Morenz just sitting there. Also found some oddball baseball sets with Mantle's picture on front that I put aside and starting grabbing packs here and there. When he came back with the 57s, I pulled some packs and open up one and found a Frank Robinson RC. As I hauled everything i wanted up to the cash register, my total was about $20. I reached into my wallet and was amazing that I only had $6 and told the shopkeep to wait a sec, so I can get my wife. For some reason, I knew my wife was across the street and when I found her, I told her to give me $20 so I can go back and get these packs/cards. She then says, "you can't pay him with modern money because it would not look the same". That's when the alarm went off and I woke up

Cool dream, I haven't had a good one like that in awile.
While he was signing for my friend, I leaned over and hit his arm with my head???
He asked, what was that, and I told him I just wanted to be able to say I've been elbowed in the head by Mr. Hockey.
Then he came after me, yelling "you're gonna get elbowed in the head alright" and I woke up in fear.
I have often thought if there was ever a kid who bought packs in the 50's, 60's or 70's and right away put them in a box in the closet, with the express purpose of not opening them up for 20 or 30 years. Kind of like a baseball card time capsule in your closet, if they would have survived Mom!
My problem was that my allowance only allowed me to buy 2 packs a week and it probably took all of 2 seconds before the packs were opened. If someone had suggested to this 11 year old to put them away for 30 years, I woulda looked at him like he was nuts!

Back when I was still involved in a fantasy baseball league (I had to stop because I would become so consumed by it), I regularly dreamed about opening up the morning newspaper and reading the boxscores... Then I'd wake up, go open the morning newspaper and read the boxscores.

Actually, that's what I dreamt about last night. Only minus the cards (and the bikini).

I have never been aware of color or the lack of it in any of my dreams/nightmares .
Mine are always so strange with a lot of pieces that just don't seem to fit when I wake up and think about it , I mean WAY OFF .
