    Dan,
Awesome set. I think you priced it to sell. I am pretty tempted myself. The Williams looks really nice.

Let's see a scan of the Jab.

    Dan,
All of these cards look great and look under graded. The only one that looks right is the Slaughter which is not a bad 4. Love the color of the Pafko.

    Thanks Shane,

As you know I have gone through a lot of Wilsons over the past 5 years. I will have to ask you to stop complimenting the set though as it makes it harder on me to go through with the sale! image

    Dan,
I sold mine and it was hard. I still have two Williams sitting in the safety deposit box along with 5 other cards graded PSA 5/6. I will make another one in near future. I should have bought Steve Eberhardts Jablonski last month.

hmm, wonder how many of those will get half grade bumps in the "New PSA"

Could increase the value $4000 now for you Dan. You might want to do this before you sell, seriously. The set is only 20 cards and only one of those will cost you $70.

Interesting thought on the bump thing.

Shane - I should have bid higher on that Jablonski also. Dumb.

D and Shane - I've also been looking at this series and was going for a card this week (item 290223371910) - Richards, creased with dog ears but centered - and it went for 260 + shipping....Did I miss something? Low pop common, sure. But worth $300 as a PSA 3? I figured it would reach a bit more than the same graded Hack or Groth - around 150 - 200.

anyone know why the lot with all the Wilson Franks Slaughter and Richards got pulled from Mastro?

The description called Paul Richards Frank instead of Paul, but I don't think that's the reason.

Apparently the item was pulled because there was a question of authenticity????? I don't know if the cards were hand cut from sheet or if the cards were fakes. I saw that someone got a bid in before they closed the auction down. Later on I found out that a friend of ours placed an initial bid and Mastro sent him the skinny on it.

    Regards,

    Trailrider-
The Richards is a very tough card to find. That one that you have a post of is a really nice copy. Although it may technically grade a PSA 3, the card has great centering and eye appeal. I have a very nice copy of a Hack 5 and Groth 6 if you are interested.

Well, it is nicely centered which is why I put a bid in, but it went for more than a straight 4 as I estimated it...and seeing 9 of those same cards pulled from the masto auction hopefully means more will be on the market as single sales. Given the option, I'd rather have a roughed up edge or corner than a off center square edged card.

As for the Hack 5 or Groth 6, please pm me...and anymore 64 standups in your stock? I'm at 80+ % mixing 7 and 8.

I was the purchaser of Dan's set, but my ownership was short-lived. I had to put it in Mastro's auction.
