I just began looking at the set registrys and some of the guys white out or block out the cert. number. I was just wondering if anyone knew why.

Also prevents people from highjacking the certification number on the registry.

Agreed. I white out all my serials from my registry sets.

I like using a crop of the card info instead of just a plain blank or white out of area.

That's actually a good idea to do that. Makes it harder for the a-holes out there!
