Note from eBay buyer on PSA card

I got this note today on a printed out eBay invoice for a PSA card. I imagine it is quite possible it is a forum member.

Uh, yikes. That's a wee bit obnoxious.
  • Wow, real particular, or else he has had bad experiences with other sellers in the past?

I mean, I do manually print the name and address, use extra bubble wrap on the card inside, and use extra tape to secure the bubble mailers shut even better. I do this stuff just as a precaution, but I have never had anyone make that request for this stuff when they paid. I also tape the buyer's address on the team bag protecting the card, inside the package, in case it gets torn open in the mailing process, that way they can know the address as to where the item is to go to.

Just think, next month non compliance of his demands will result in a negative for you with no retaliation.

Well, coming from a guy who had two sets arrive DOA because the set box was just wrapped in brown paper, I can't blame the customer one bit for being cautious.

OK, he's particular. But are any of his requests unreasonable? No.

I agree its more like a plea than a demand IMO.

take the card in the holder and affix the postage and insurance to the slab and mail it to him.

I hate people like that and people that put annoying little demands on their paypal payments.

I don't think he is really out of line with the note. It is pretty polite and he is not making demands or giving you orders. I am sure you package items very well, but some sellers do not so I see where he is coming from.

I do not think his requests are unreasonable as long as he really doesn't expect me to follow everything to the letter.

For one, I do not go use a post office clerk every time I mail, nor do I see the $1.50 i made on this card a reason to do such. If I have overseas stuff, then I have no choice. For items I made $1 on, I usually will not. The postal clerk post stamp does not add anything in my opinion.

I do not know of this mystery white tape. He seems to know exactly what he wants....so I better find some white tape. Hope it does not cost more then $1.50.

The buyer also wants me to insure the $9.99 item for $14.64, which includes the shipping and the insurance. I can not insure insurance. That part is cut off on from the image because it includes his private information.

I hope when he wrote print he does not mean type.

I will ship it in a cardboard back bubble mailer, taped with the good strong tape (but it will be clear), however it will be my own tape and it will go out insured. If he purchased two or more cards, they would go out in the 400 ct boxes.
