Al Kaline, Carl Yastrzemski and Frank Robinson nice trio of signed Topps rookie pickups

Some of y'all are probably getting tired of these posts from me, so for that I apologize, but I think its fun to talk about our collecting passions and I always enjoying seeing others, so I'm posting mine as I pick them up. I struck a deal today with a fellow board member for the following 3 signed rookies. Al Kaline, Carl Yastrzemski and Frank Robinson. These are some of the nicest ones I've picked up to date as the cards look to be in pretty good shape and the signatures nice to boot. They are currently at PSA/DNA waiting to be slabbed. Thanks for the deal Oaktown!! Also, any of you that have PSA/DNA signed Topps HOF rookie cards that you want to get rid of, feel free to PM. Worse case scenario, we don't agree on price, but maybe pick up a new friend.

Mike, all I can say about those 3 cards is WOW!

You might consider making 1 post about your signed HOf rookie cards, and keep adding to it as you pick them up. Would be neat to see your whole collection in one thread!

i'd bet you have quite an appreciative, albeit silent audience.
xlnt idea to consolidate them into one thread.

    I doubt that.

Clearly the Kaline sig looks nothing like the facsimile sig on the card so it's gotta be fake.

Good suggestions on making one big consolidated thread. I'll do that later today. Take care,

  • That Yaz makes me feel warm and fuzzy. Great work sir.

  • Love that Yaz. It's the exact same picture Topps used on his '61 second year card. It looks like it was heavily airbrushed. Are you planning to display all of these cards when you complete your project?

Are you joking Mike? With all the threads on ebay? This is a breath of fresh air - a walk in the park with the wind to your back and the warm sun in your face!!

Incredible cards! I have nothing like it!

    Thanx for sharing.
