Most Hall of Famers on one team in one year
I thought it would be interesting to see what teams had the most hall of famers on the same team in one year...the catch is that they must have been all pictured in a card that year. For instance the 46-55 Browns had a ton of hall of famers, but many were not included on a card during the same year.
here is my guess: The 1955 49ers

What other teams had alot of HOF'ers pictured in cards the same year?

Baseball:
Pre-war would be the 1931-1933 Yankees (9 HOF players each year plus Joe McCarthy as manager).
Post-war would be the 1964-1965 San Francisco Giants (6 HOF players each year)
Football:
The 1974-1981 Steelers each had 9 HOF players + Chuck Noll. However, due to the fact that John Stallworth did not have a card until 1978, the only three years in which all nine players appeared on cards are 1979-1981.
Basketball:
The 62-63 Celtics mentioned by Vito had the most HOFers on a roster.
Hockey:
The 1958-59 Parkhurst set features 11 Montreal Canadiens HOFers.
<< <i>Someone else can do the research on whether every player was pictured on a card, but here are the records to the best of my knowledge:

I don't think Lynn Swann had a card from 1979-81. Is Ray Mansfield in the hall? If so, he retired around 1975 or 76.

11. Jim Taylor 1958-1966

well they all slip into the requirements kinda...Hornung, Jordan, Ringo, Starr and Taylor all had cards. But there was also a Team card that showed the whole team.
the 65 philly set has 10 packer HOFers. The 64 has 9. 1966 Philly and 1963 Topps have 7. The 1962 Topps has 6.
So your 1955 Bowman niners are out of the running. Below is a break down for all the packer teams from the late 50's and 1960's for HOFers per year.
1963, 64, 65, 66 they had 10.
1962 they had 11
1960 they had 11
1959 they had 9
1958 they had 6
