i have never seen these either. this is a repack job. if these were on the level, we would have seen these sometime before in the 15 years they have been out. i think josh could probably shed some light on this since he is the 1993 finest guru.

There was another thread on this if someone wants to search for it.

Basically it breaks out to about $30-$40 a '93 refractor, assuming you are getting true commons and semi-stars, which is par (maybe a little above) for the course - assuming they don't put a Nolan Ryan in the box.
