I'm going to try GEM Grading, Inc.

I have a bogus Jordan rookie. I just want to see if they authenticate it. I'll LMAO if they pass it.

(and NO, I have no plans to sell it to some unsuspecting victim)

Gotta post scan before sending and after.
  • When you sell it on ebay, make sure you state - Graded by GEM, because everyone else knows it is fake. No Returns.

I paid $10 for it. The guy I bought it from obviously didn't try to deceive me. I have no intentions of deceiving anyone else. I'm doing this for personal amusement. I had to laugh because I saw some fake Jordans on e-bay sell for over $100 and the sellers were actually listing them as "reprints". I can't imagine knowingly spending $100 for a bogus card.
  • I've got a couple of these.

Two Gretzky rookie fakes, as well.

Keep us posted ... I may do the same!

    (Not to deceive, of course.)

I did unknowingly sell a fake Gretzky a few years back for over a hundred bucks.

Feel like a real loser now.

  • wait ... I am a loser!

If it comes back an "11" , let me know as I already have plenty of 10's , but yet to get the golden 11.

  • I am not sure what is more odd, the fact that it will be slabbed, the fact that no one pays to have stuff slabbed by them(he slabs most of his own crap), or the fact that as funny as it may seem, you are only supporting him and that crap.

I find it almost amazing that they can damn near make counterfeit money and it is hard to make a fake card , you would think something like that would be easy or at least a lot easier to duplicate , Especially if you have knowledge of printing .

Personally , I would not try to get it slabbed and I certainly would not post that I have a known fake I was trying to get slabbed .

I have a feeling saying something like that can make people lose a lot of trust , God forbid you tried to sell something , people would second guess it .

Gem seems to be a special kind of mill.

I wouldn't be surprised that unless sellers have a "special" deal with them - an individual submitter won't get a fake in one of their holders?

Stone - do you think they have any individual submitters who don't have a special deal with them?

I'm not in the business of selling cards so I really don't need anyone's trust. I'm not going to sell it or trade it and pass it off as authentic. I just want to see if this company is as bad as they seem.
