Jackpot or crackpot, one of those boxes you forgot about.NOW with scans

Sorry to start 2 threads in one day, but I found one of these old boxes of cards. I wanted to share my happiness with my collegues. I DOUBT anyone remember but I swore that an X g/f stole, or helped steal a bunch of cards. Well she is absolved, scans tomorrow. No, it wasn't just a 90 Score hoard Sandberg errors, Knoblauchs, grffeys and sosa's. But it included everything from Mecca cigarette cards, Pre war non sport including skybirds, g-men, salada coins, etc. I am going to scan a bunch of stuff tomorrow night.

I didnt scan too much of the crap, these were collected back in 1991-92 after which I took a break for about 10+ years. I was the only kid buying vintage back in the day, to obad I wasted so much on new stuff. I have about 10 of those David Rosbinson shirt cards, that mean I opened 8 boxes at 120 each when they were hot? DUH I dd buy a 52 topps wrapper from Alan Rosen at a show in Cranston. I think that Ryan record breaker is super tough, no idea why I bought it but looks like a good canidate. Oh well enjoy

Freedoms war, a skybird, g men and heroes of the law, and some weird Mecca joke cards

Prolly about 60 of these joke cards, similar to the t218 boxers I believe

ok ok guys there WAS a score hoard, bout 80 Griffeys and 20 Sandberg errors, remember Sandberg errors!

Ripub - I've made a few trips to my parents house since I've been bitten by the bug a month ago. Here are a few beaters I probably won't get graded but are cool to look at.

I like beaters! Very nice! Laugh now, but when I am doing card shows 50 years from now they will REALLY be worth a few bucks....

....seriously, prolly worth a few bucks...lol

When I bought cards back then, condition wasn't a concern, I just wanted the names. The term beater I picked up on the forums I like them just the same, I just wouldn't buy them today, but I'm happy to have them.

Love that Red Baron.. Any man that can get shot in the head, killed and still land his plane is pretty good in my book.
