1991 Topps Desert Shield Commons

I have about 800 commons that are doubles and I'm putting them on the bay this weekend if someone doesn't want to take them here. I have a couple hundred more that I was going to sub.

I have graded a few of these and know there are still hoards of 9's and a few 10's in here. I would guess 75% is NM-MT to MINT and maybe 5% GEM MINT with the final 20% is EX. Maybe 2-3 cards have gum stains. No checklists or stars. A few minor stars. Not picked through other than pulling a few out to grade. I have a stack of 200 I was going to grade that are very "MINTY". I'll give you my recent subs info if you want to see how I've done grading (+80% PSA 9 with 1/20 PSA 10). Really too much good stuff to sub as prices on graded has dropped in the past year and I'm focusing on another set now.

0- 50 $1.50 each plus actual shipping costs.
50-100 $1.00 each plus actual shipping costs.
100+ $1 each. I'll ship at my expense.

I'll entertain offers for team lots but please don't ask me to go through a 1000 cards just to amuse yourself.

Could you go through and pick out the players that are taller than 6'1, weigh more than 225 lbs., or went to high school or college in North Carolina? I will also need to see hi resolution scans of each card, front and back. Thanks.

In all seriousness, good luck with the sales. There are a lot of people still looking for singles.

Lee was that you...yeah I almost feel bad about that as I expected to get some competition. 4 bids and two were mine. I think I had my snipe at $14-16. You need anything let me know.

Guys, hopnestly, if you want team lots at $1.50 each I'll put together lots. Maybe 20-30 cards per team. So were talking $30-50. If you want that please pm me so I can keep it straight and I'll send ya a count for your requested team.

I'm going out of town to a shooting tournament in the morning so I'll respond to pm's Monday. Sunny Orlando...here I come.

Heh, don't worry about it. PSA 10 '90s stuff has been ice cold over the past 6 months so now's the time to get stuff like that. A year ago some clown would've probably paid $50-$75 for it. Good luck in the shooting tourney.

i would be interested in a team set of the orioles if you can pull them. i'm not interested in doubles just one set or as close as you can get.

Not too bad. Thanks for asking. I had my best year last year, honestly getting better each year. I made Team USA and will shoot for the US in Cyprus next September. I won one event, forth in another, and top ten in the other two of four events; out of 300+ of the top guns. Not bad for a guy that hasn't shot for four months and against professionals that shoot every day.

My main goal is to get 250 "points" at each shoot for high placement so I can make the US team next year also. I received 631 for the four events so I'm happy with that.

First up, 6 Orioles. All PSA 6-8 quality, with exception of Jeff Ballard that has a gum stain. I'll PM payment details.

7 nicely centered Red Sox...and one OC Tom Bolton w print marks. All except Bolton PSA 6-8 Quality; 3 good PSA 8 quality cards in Dopson, Barret and Kiecker. No stains.

7 Mets. Jefferies is a solid PSA 9, the rest are PSA 6-8 quality. No stains. Great lot full of semi stars....$1.50 each!!

Yeah, I meant semi-star. No real stars in the commons group I have.

I have a pile and these three lots don't make a dent so off to ebay they go! I'll be listing lots of 100 one every couple days so as to space them out. I also have a starter set will about 600 cards I'll list this weekend. Someone listed a starter set that closed yesterday and it went at a respectable price; $90 for 100 cards. I guess $1 a card is about right for lots over $50.
