New to collecting vintage and I need some help

Hi there. I need some help about prices. I want to start collecting a 1957 Topps baseball set in psa 4 or 5. I don't know a lot of the values of these grades. I want to buy a Mays first and was thinking of the psa 4 for 50 dollars on eBay. Is that a reasonable price or is that a little high. The card looks pretty good for centering but the corners are rounded. Sorry I don't know how to post a link yet. Any help on pricing would be great. Thanks.

I am a member of vintagecardprices.com....for 10/month you can see the average selling price of cards. I have found it to be an incredible resource when it comes to what I should pay for cards. I think I have saved a lot more money than I have spent on my subscription. No, I dont work for VCP LOL, just like the service a whole lot.
Average price of the last 5 sales for a PSA 4 is 56.52 so if you find the card appealing for its condition, it sounds like a fair price. Centered cards do command a premium!
SMR is a nice guide, too.
