just got this today... will be sending it in soon
the surface and gloss on this card is as nice as I have ever seen

    Thats a beauty. The top two corner on the front (but mostly on the back), keep you out of an 8 holder, but you got 7th heaven locked up.

    Edited to add: Could be nothing or just the scan, but the bottom edge under Pirates and OF looks a little weird. Its more noticeable on the reverse which would be just to the right of his Avg.

    yeah.. overpaid.. thinking it was a lock 8.. it looks nicer in person...
    it may have a shot.. trying to get opinions..

    I would guess it's a lock for a 7, outside chance of an 8.

    top looks wavy. 7 or 7.5 if not trimmed

    I too think it is a lock 7 with an outside chance at an 8

    The top left and bottom left corners look soft to me.

    It is IMO a very nice card.

    Just the corners keep it from an 8. I think it's a 7.5 and has beautiful eye appeal!

    You didn't overpay if you think the card is beautiful and you are keeping it for yourself. But, if you're looking for a slab n' sell, then you might take a hit on this one. Good luck!

    That's tough to determine since we don't know what "overpaid" equals.

    True, but he stated that he overpaid because he thought it could "8".

    We don't know what a 7.5 could pull though....plus, we are all just talkin' trash because it all depends on which grade Joe and crew hit on the dart board. image

    If I think a card "could 8", I would try to pay between 6 and 7 so I have a parachute. If he did that he'll be ok.

    I paid a little over smr 7 money for it..
    I just sold a psa 7.. and that card was probably over graded,
    this is at least a grade higher then that... I would think worst case is 7.5..
    and I would think the price I paid would be ok.. if it is an 8.. I will make a few bucks..

    According to VCP PSA 7's average $113 and PSA 8's average $451, so that's quite a gap. Good luck either way.

    top right edge and corner will keep it from an 8...also can it get an 8 with the red spot on the sleeve?

    It's a great looking card, that I'd love to own, but the corners keep it at 7 or 7.5.
    It does look better than a lot of 8's that are out there.

    I think you guys are giving PSA too much credit when it comes to 62s- this card is easily a 7.5 at the worst, and has a good shot at an 8.
