Mail Day with an Amazing surprise!! (lots of scans)

I get home from track practice and what do I see before going into my room? Oh yeah, that'd be a USPS box and 5 other envelopes sitting on the floor at the entrance. I figured out what the bubble mailers might have been, but as far as the box goes.....I was dumbfounded. I grabbed the box, looked at my mom and she smiled. I open up the package and clear the peanuts out of the box and see a box of 2007 BOWMAN DRAFT PICKS & PROSPECTS! There's a guy that is friends with my grandpa, and lives in the Seattle area. He somehow has ties to a card shop and regularly sends me a bunch of Braves base cards that he gets for really cheap from the guy at the shop. Supposedly, my grandpa had his friend ask the shop owner what the hot selling product is right now and he told him the 07 Bowman Draft and apparently gave my grandpa 50% off because of the ties and he told the owner it's my birthday! Sorry I didn't wait to do a live rip on here, but my mom and little brother wanted to watch and stuff. Anyways, pretty fun box and some decent little pulls.

Here's the results.... Mail Call First.....(autos from ebay, the glavine PSA 8 from baseballfan, and the delmon young foil RC from rpcoletrane) By the way, the Upton Goudey gives me the full Rays set.

I was pretty bummed I didn't pull any Cory Kluber or Brian Boc*** cards (pitcher for the Padres and SS for the Giants that I watched in their college years around here) but oh well, I have a lot of 20 CHROME Kluber and a lot of 25 base Boc***'s on their way in from ebay in the next few days as well as some nice bowman base set parallels (blue and orange borders) that were absolute steals thanks to ebay stores!

I have a TON of base rookie cards as well as chromes and golds from the break, and if anyone needs anything from the set (minus some players), I'd be happy to sell or trade.

Thanks to the guys on here that traded with me for the cards in the mail call section, I appreciate it.

So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

Goot, are you going to the card show this weekend at Tyrone mall?

If so, there are about four hair cutting joints in there that probably would like your business image
