Thankfully he had somewhat of a conscience left.

Something pushed him to the edge.
    Then he stepped back.

Went crazy; recovered just in time.

Lots of psycho shooters in the past 24 hours.

If one of them pulls it when I am around, everybody
will be glad I was there. I hope more people will
    begin to adopt that position.

Typical terrorist thought process: "You made me angry, therefore you are responsible for what I do in anger."

Fortunately, he didn't believe his own rhetoric.

That would be crazy if that happened at the Super Bowl. I cannot imagine how they would deal with that.

    Glad that was averted!

Another whacky thing - disaster averted - Dec 19th, 1976 - Steelers beat Baltimore at Memorial Stadium - right after the game, a small piper cherokee crashed into the upper deck!

Lucky they had alread cleared out!

I had my first bar expeience at 10 years old. In 1978 my Grandfather took me to a Red Sox game, he never had a license (good thing), we took the bus 20 miles into Boston for a 1pm game. Spent 2 hours at some dive bar, I had root beer, thinking I was cool, hanging out with the old guys. Unfortunately he passed away before I was 21 so I never had a chance to drink with him and the guys. He was also club champ many times at the local public golf course, he downed a few there too. At least he passed doing what he loved, he had a massive heart attack on the 6th tee there. Not the kindest guy, rough factory worker (GE aircraft engines), but I understood him and miss him.
  • I'm with you on that one Storm. It would be emptied just to make sure he wouldn't be around anymore.
