Rip Coming Next Week - Updated with Scans

We haven't had enough rips posted on the board lately so I just picked up a few things from BBCE. I'll Post scans of this when I get it next week.

1 x 1985 OPC Baseball Unopened Wax Box
5 x 1985/86 Topps Hockey Unopened Wax Pack
2 x 1972 OPC Baseball Unopened Series 1 Wax Pack
2 x 1972 OPC Baseball Unopened Series 2 Wax Pack

I need an '85 OPC Gwynn for my registry set.
The hockey was inspired by the quality of the cards Lee pulled from his packs and the lack of a Lemieux being pulled.
The '72 OPC series 2 was a fun rip last time and I thought I'd try some series 1 as well.

Good batch! I'd be interested in any '85 OPC Brett's you might pull.

Here's an update on this rip. My '72 OPC series 1 order was cut to one pack. Then, when I opened the pack labeled as series 1 I pulled only series 2 cards. I thought maybe the packs just got switched around, but the other two packs also had series 2 cards. Steve Hart being the great man that he is refunded the $15 difference between the two series and added another $5. I turned my credit into a box of '86 OPC baseball. Scans to follow.

The condition of these '85 hockey cards was top quality

The '85 OPC baseball box was a disaster. The Puckett I pulled was the wax stain card from that pack, plus the corners were badly damaged. Overall condition of the cards was poor, not just the usual centering problems.

I really enjoyed opening the '86 OPC. Condition was pretty good, at least compared to the '85's, and I pulled most of the good players.

The 1972 OPC Aparicio in action and 1972 OPC Tigers team card look like strong candidates for submission.

Edited to add: The 1972 OPC Gene Mauch and and 1972 OPC Rickey Clark (although I cant see the bottom of the Clark) look to be well centered too.

Thanx for sharing the rip Mark.

The 85-6T Hockey cards are sweet!

Sorry to hear about the 85OPC - I remember last year opening 4 vending boxes of 83T to pull a nicely centered Gwynn - zero!

Good luck on your next pickup.
