great super bowl letter, before it was super bowl 47-48-49

from al wistert, thought timing was great considering tomorrow and all-if u cant read it ,he talks about super bowl tomorrow,and eagles being in 3 abck to back 47-48-49 back when they were awsone, and the 48 and 49 shoutout teams,whick hasnt been done since, there was only 12 teams back then though image
in 47 he talks about charlie trippi of cards winning it slipping past him because charlie had on spiked shoes he made himself like mountain climbers have now basicailly, everybody else was pretty much slipping and sliding all over in the snow and ice in chicago in 47 and charlie was running right past em with nails in his shoes,i asked trippi about it and he said thats exactly what he did!!!image drove inch or so nail thru bottom of his shoes -good thing there wernt many rules back then like now, just dont kill anybodyimage

says stan mauldin of the cards died in the locker room after the game, history is great coming from the guys who were there, al's still got a great mind and he was 88 last dec!!!!!! very cool dude,like to go meet him in oregon
