Cheap box bust...

Hello everyone. I'd like to get everyone's opinion here. We are low on cash right now, but the bills are all getting paid thank God. My wife and I have each saved a little to get each other something little for Valentines day. She said she wanted to get me a cheap hobby or retail box to open that I might pull an auto or game used. Any suggestions? Thanks.

    2007 Bowman Heritage. If I'm not mistaken, there's an auto per box on the retail boxes. I got one at Target and pulled a Jordan Brown rookie auto. Yeah I know, but it's an auto. image Plus those are some nice looking cards. I got a Ryan Braun (Brewers) too.

    You can grab a hobby box of Bowman heritage for $60. I have bought 3 hobby boxes of these. I believe you get at least 2 hits a box. One box I picked up must have been a hot box because i got 6 hits between jersey and auto cards. Joba Chaimberland first rookie as well #251.

    If you can find the Upper Deck World Series Heroes boxes, they have 24 packs, with 1 GU hit per box, and were going for $25-30 last I looked - and the GU include some rare but amazing possibilities.

    Not much in the way of Indians stuff though. image

    The Fleer Ultra SE box that I broke the other day is $39.99 on Blowoutcards.com. If you just choose normal shipping on it and not flat rate or anything it is free and only takes a couple days longer. You get 4 game used and 1 auto per box in 5 packs of 15 cards each. Good luck on whatever box you do get though!

    Use the money you were going to spend on the 75 (?) set and apply it to your wife.

    Bet you won't be able to walk for days afterwards.
