Actually Frank you could get 3 Mantle 10's for the 2 million dollars that guy wants.

His opening bid is not the reserve.

    Good for you.

I say that....why? cuz he says in the description that the value is incalculable so that must mean you would be getting a really really good deal!

I wonder if Boba Fett is going to make him an offer he cant refuse... image
  • I wonder how hard it was to pull the leg off of one Star Wars character and replace it on the other, then call it "rare"? I see both of my daughters doing that to their Bratz dolls all the time.image
  • Obviously it won't sell and he'll be stuck with VERY high listing fees......

Heh. When I was a kid, I popped the head off of my General Madine action figure, put on a Lando Calrissian head, then gave him Squidhead's cape and WHAM, General Calrissian of the Rebel Alliance! image

edit to add: I think I just outted myself as a nerd for even remembering that....

The listing fees top off at 4.80........

So with the BIN and reserve he prolly is in for 15.00

I wonder if the seller would trade it for a 1952 Bill Martin PSA 6? image

  • Yes the cap is $4.80 for insertion, then for a reserve it is 1% (over $200) with a $50 cap. So 1% of even his minimum bid would be $7500, thus his cap is the $50. BIN is only .25.....final total of fees is $55.05. I could think of better ways to spend $55. I know the seller is just trying to get a sucker to bite, but come on......

Since it has a reserve, I just might bid. How excited you think he would get?

I used to do that on lambo's and Ferrari's, but cant they now end the auction to sell at the current high bidder?
