OT Snow, Snow, Snow and I'm Crying !!!!!!

Good Morning,
Taking a break from plowing before I go do my Route again !!!!
Having been a resident of the Beautiful Mountains of Colorado for 30 years, I am used to snow. Period !! But this winter is taking the cake.......... they say that we get 300 days of sunshine in Colorado a year, well we've had at most 3 days of sunshine in the last 75 days. I have plowed snow 57 of those 75 days have worked stretches of 21+ days and am loosing it !!!!!
Please, Please bring on the Spring !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Neil

Hi neighbor. Come on out to Kansas, we haven't had much snow, but had one heck of an ice storm in December.
  • I feel for ya man! We've had non-stop sub zero temps and snow and ice storms here in Wisconsin too. I've lived here all my life (33 years) and I still complain bout it, lol. Hey, maybe if there's as many complaints to mother nature, as there is about PSA, it'll stop snowing forever. image

That's why I left the north for SC. Sick and tired to no sun for what seems like months at a time.

Have you noticed that they do not call it global warming anymore.

They now call it Global Climate Change so they can explain the colder weather.

  • Snow day !!!!!!!! What's That ????????????

My kids haven't had a Snow Day off of school since the Blizzard of 2001, and I haven't had a Snow day since the boulder fall closed Glenwood Canyon for two days, three years ago, and I couldn't get to work.

8-10 inches is every other day here. Last night, 13 inches overnight, another 2-3 this morning, another 4-7 this afternoon/evening and another 3-5 by morning. with 2-4 tomorrow.
And yes the overtime is nice but after so many days of plowing, most times we come in plow for 3-6 hours and go home if the snow stops for the day, so at the end of the week you end up with some OT, but not enourmous amounts. Just end up having to drive in every day and work 7 days a week.

Except for liberals and high home prices, I love California! It's a little wet, but tolerable.

Well, I'm in NYC, and it hardly ever snows here anymore! Tell that to the Chinese, though...it may not be global "warming" but there's no doubt that we have very strange weather and climate conditions these days...
