So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

If you're referring to the back of the pack where the sides are folded over, well all Bowmans were wrapped like that from those early years - baseball and football.
Here's one for comparison
<< <i>Has he changed pictures. The pics in his ad do not match the pics posted. Not a whole lot better though. He must have relized how bad his first job looked and rewrapped. >>
Holy crud, you're right.
Glad I saved the originals to my photobucket account.
MUWAHAHAHAHAHA!
Updated photos:
He's now officially a WEASEL!
<< <i>I'm not sure what I am missing. I'm not saying it hasn't been re-wrapped, but how can anyone tell?

I understand your point but two questions, assuming that is the case:
1) Why is it a private sale?
2) Why did he change the pictures after I posted this thread?
Look at the 1st set of pictures and if you honestly believe that wrap job is from the factory, I've got some ocean front property in Arizona that I would love to show you.
The seller should be imprisoned.
grandmother's basement.
He has pulled this carp numerous times.
However, the reason that he switched out the pictures is because the first pack that he featured was a 5 cent pack, but the auction was for a 1 cent pack - notice the wrappers are totally different. He had the wrong pics and switched them out to the correct ones - no harm there. As far as the listing being private, I don't know what to tell you on that one, but a lot of sellers do that. Looking back at his past auctions, they've all been private auctions so it's not just this one.
I agree the wrap job is ugly on the first pack, but then again, all Bowman wraps jobs were ugly back then. I also agree that they could possibly be reseals, but when the wrap job on either one looks consistant with wrap jobs of other Bowman packs back then, it's too hard to tell without seeing the pack in person.
Fixed and sorry for the confusion.

I realized that was my fault, put in the wrong link.
I do fail to understand why you are defending this obvious reseal job but that's just my opinion.
