1961 Topps Jim Brown - crack out or resubmit?

Looking for opinions on this card..although the standards for 8.5 are not yet clear, this is a very nice 8 so I would think that this card has a legitimate shot at a bump. Also, I have never cracked and resubmitted...anyone think this has a shot at a 9? Input greatly appreciated..thanks!

I would not crack and resubmit that. Who knows what they'd do with it.

Send it in as is and hope it gets bumped.

  • I agree with Ron. Sweet card. Good luck.

Agree -- if you want to resubmit, do so but leave it in the holder. Sweet card.

    Thanks for the input...any others?
  • If you crack there is always a chance you could get a 7.5 now. The card does not look like a 9, so resubmit in case and hope for an 8.5. If you are going to keep the card for your collection, what is the point of cracking? (the grade may change but the card remains the same)

    Try for the .5

The t/b centering is a little problem on eye appeal for a 9.
