Obviously, both are great pieces. That's a sweet combo of a nice sig and portrait on the Spahn, and you gotta think there aren't too many of those quadruple signed "Fence Busters" floating around. I'd say you did well.

Ditto.
So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts
<< <i>Well said Bryon. There cant be too many of those quad-signed.
What would something like that go for? I'm not asking what you paid, just curious for an approximation.
Vintage autos are great! >>
Hopefully they go for more than what I paid for it, Lol. I've never seen a quad signed Fence Busters, I know some of the dual signed 58 Topps usually go for over $100 if there is at least one star player on it, I gave $140 for this one. I believe I got a pretty good deal on the Fence Busters,But I probably over-paid on the Spahn @ $85. But the Spahn just looked so sweet, also never seen a 54 Red Heart Spahn auto.
I don't think you overpaid at all on the Spahn - that card (unsigned)has an SMR of $50 in PSA 5 and a $75 in PSA 6, and that particular card would have probably sold in that range raw and unsigned.
collecting RAW Topps baseball cards 1952 Highs to 1972. looking for collector grade (somewhere between psa 4-7 condition). let me know what you have, I'll take it, I want to finish sets, I must have something you can use for trade.
looking for Topps 71-72 hi's-62-53-54-55-59, I have these sets started
We can not access Photobucket at work and therefore can not see any attachments linked to Photobucket. I have been waiting all day to get home and see these. Absolutely beautiful Spahn!!!
