Crackout this 74-D Kennedy and make a few hundred?

Take a look at the image (from Wednesdays' Teletrade) 1974-D Kennedy Pcgs-66 I thought this one had a really good shot at 67, didn't see any of the negative things as in Teletrades' description. Anyone feeling lucky? A couple other Kennedys to note, both are solid PCGS-66, 1983-D and 1989-D. Image for the 89-D 1989-D Kennedy PCGS-66

Irish Mike - Love of money can soften even the harshest picture to the seller. Of course the buyer is another story altogether. Bear

I wasn't even aware a 1974-D in MS67 went "for a few hundred". I own one. Do you want to buy it?

On June 19, 2000, one sold on Teletrade for $320, and on July 23, 2000 one sold on Teletrade for $240. These are actual auction results from Teletrades' "Price Guide". (No other 1974-D Kennedys in PCGS-67 have sold since those). The way MS-67 Kennedys have been selling lately, I am assuming that one today would sell for way over $300. No thanks on the offer to sell me one. Any comments on the one imaged?

I'm not a Kennedy expert but it looks exceptionally well-struck for that era, including the shield on reverse, and overall very clean without typical scuffing on the high points, including the shield again.

But I can see the marks (though not the scratch) that Teletrade appears to be talking about, and that seems like enough excuse to keep it in a 66 holder on that size coin.

Looks like a nice coin regardless of the label. I'd buy it at the current price. image
