Pujols signed game used batting gloves on Ebay (no, they are not mine)

I wonder what these will go for? These are from 2007. These are super rare. The only way to get these anymore is through a Pujols Family Foundation fundraiser. They are not offered to the public anymore. Pujols does have a deal with Upper Deck where you can get signed items, but I don't think they offer any game used items. I know for a fact (by talking to the foudation president) that these items are very limited. In other words, he doesn't use them for 2 or 3 games and then sell them like most players do. He wears them for several weeks.

The pair in my avatar is the only pair that was released in 2006. The reason I bring this up is because I have wanted to know for quite some time what the value of mine are. Even though the Ebay pair are from 2007, I would think it will get me some sort of idea. I do remember a pair from 2005 going for $1,400. Here is the link. Any guesses on how much the will go for?

I didn't notice that. Actually, I think it is a woman. In one of the pictures, it shows a woman standing beside Albert's wife in the restaurant. The feedback isn't that good either at 99.3%. That means that mine should even go higher (though I'm not selling - purely hypothetical) because mine is at 99.7% and 2,553. Plus mine is from his record breaking month in April when he hit 14 HR.

Well, it's not like he's Alex Rodriguez or anything, but I'm guessing they are worth something.

    Scott,

Your the high bidder or is that what you are GOING to bid?

My opinion is that I don't think that will get it. I am thinking $1,500 bare minimum, but you never know.

FYI - an Alex Rodriguez pair could be had (about a year ago), somewhere between $400 and $500. I think I'm right on that, anyway.

  • These are very interesting since they are the first MLB Authenticated batting gloves I've ever seen. I only see their holos on bats, jerseys, helmets, etc. but never batting gloves.
  • since this is a private auction, you will never know....

i wonder why this is a private auction, i would feel better if it werent......

Well, I was a bit off. They went for $1,300+ . I think the seller's feedback and private auction hurt them a little.

There is another pair on Ebay now. These are from 2005. These are like the pair that I originally bought, but they ran out. They only had 9 for the whole year, and they let my payment (the 10th payment) go through. That's why I ended up with a 2006 pair. It took a few months, but they did me right.

Anyway, I look for these all the time, and they hardly ever come up for auction. However, these are the second pair in 2 weeks.
