So I get this letter in mail yesterday.....

....and its a Hallmark greeting card from a different part of the country with some woman's name on the return address whom I never heard of. I open up the envelope and the greeting card on the front states, "So Sorry For Your Loss". I open up the card and inside is a top loader with a late 60's common I won on eBay. Upon close inspection of the card, it has four fuzzy corners, and two corner creases - which in my opinion grades the card at Ex-Mint at best. The card was advertised as "from vending, NM/Mint+". The inside of the card says, "Caring thoughts will be with you for a long time to come. With sympathy" (no signature - however).

So I think, yeah, how appropriate, I just got taken for $12; but hey, at least they were thoughtful enough to include a sympathy card assuring me that they feel sorry for me. image

This is weird, but also very offensive. They have the audacity to rob you straight up. How was their feedback anyway? Please out them so we can avoid this seller.

I haven't received feedback from this seller - if that isn't a surprise.......

I'd give the guy a chance he has over 2000 positive feedbacks with no neg's. It appears there is something wrong....I'd give him a chance to make it right..IMHO.

    This whole thread is hysterical!!

Feedback should read: 'the only thing missing from this heist was KY jelly'
  • Dude,
I think you got taken too, but before I jump to any conclusions, I have to ask--

When you bid, did you make sure to bid with class?

In any event, have some fun with the feedback, as you might find that very theraputic. I would.
