What i can tell you is Mike Wheat bought these cards. They aren't going to put out money unless this "0" feedback first timer seller offered some proof to them of their legitimacy. Check their website for "recent acquisitions".
I asked the seller what was on the back and what tobacco company and the response "player stats. boman". If they really are worth $900 he's leaving a lot of money on the table with that description and those scans.
It was me that won the auction (MKWSportscards) not Mike Wheat. I took a gamble and exchanged a few emails with the seller and it seemed they were 73 various cards including T222 and caramels. Looks like ebay cancelled the deal within an hour AFTER it ended and of course I had just sent payment minutes before via paypal. I have already filed a claim with paypal and maybe I'll get lucky. I exchanged the emails with the seller in the evening so hope he responds positively.
I set a snipe at $480 and checked the auction this morning and the bidding was up around $400. Didn't think I would even win. Oh well, a leason learned. In all my years on ebay, this might be my first absolute loss. I have found many a great bargins on the bay and I guess you could say I got a tad bit greedy!!!
No I don't. I'll contact my powerseller rep when I get home. The email from ebay said for security measures they couldn't release the reason for cancellation
Probably that ****ZERO FEEDBACK**** . Treetops handle is similar to Mike Wheats. Again, Mike Wheat Company would have bid on this without some more clarification. But since Ebay pulled this, it seems anyone would have ended up in this situation. Good Luck Treetop. Keep us informed.
