Bart Starr Rookie PSA 10

Just noticed that there is a 1957 Topps Bart Starr graded a PSA 10. Does anyone know who has this card or when it was graded. This card would probably go for a ton if it ever came up for auction.

Didn't the Staubach Rookie in 10 go for 20 g's? If so, I would think the Starr Rookie would tar and feather that number!

Yeah I think it would fly by the $20,000 mark. I'm thinking $60,000 - $70,000.

The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

I heard that the Starr 10 was a 9 before it was bumped up in review.

It was on these boards a while ago. If I remember correctly, someone said that the population of the Starr 9 went down when the 10 was added to the pop report.

Wouldn't surprise me as I bet a lot of tens started life as 9s

At least it wasn't an oversized 8 cut down to a 10.

Many vintage 10's were 9's that got bumped on reviews. A pretty common occurence.

The first Hank Aaron RC graded PSA 9 got bumped into a PSA 10 holder, is just one example.

I'd love to see that Starr 10.

I have a raw Unitas rookie. Unfortunately it would grade a PSA 1 on a good day. At least there is no writing on it.
