Whats the highest grade a creased card might get?

I have a vintage card that has 2 small creases but is real nice nm condition besides that. Am i knocked down to a psa 1 or can a card with crease get a 2 or 3 or higher ? Thanks

Suprise !!!!!!! (5) psa 5's...after close inspection....very tiny surface wrinkles were evident. Any defect worse than that will get you a 4 at best. Hope that helps. btw that is an awesome psa 2. jay

Back to the original question. I have had a card get a 7 because of a surface wrinkle on the back. I really wondered why it got a 7 because (otherwise) it was a lock 9 and a decent shot at 10. It was a 1985 Donruss Roger Clemens. Corners were razor sharp, perfect centering, and no print defects or stains. I looked it over real good after I got it back in a bright light, and I saw the surface wrinkle on the back, plain as day. Yes, it got a 7.
With me, there must be some bad omen between me and 1985 Donruss Roger Clemens rookie cards. That 7 was the first one I have ever sent in. Within the past couple of years, I have sent in 2 more Clemens rookies from factory sets, and the both came back 6's. These are cards that I thought were (again) 9's or 10's. On these, however, I could not find one single flaw. I could not find a paper wrinkle, even with a loupe. I will have to give PSA a little credit, though. One of those 6's, I have broken out and sent in 3, yes 3, times (all on specials). Each time, it comes back a 6. Remember, this is a card that looks absolutely perfect. They must see something each time. Maybe their light is better than mine.
By the way, those are the only three 85 Donruss Clemens rookies that I have ever sent in - one 7, and two 6's. I am a little gun shy with that card now.

Since it's a great looking card, you should consider resubmitting and perhaps bumping it to a 3 or 4.
Edited to add: Did you happen to purchase that card from Great Lakes?
