Posting Decent Registry Pictures ...

Any ideas? I posted one pic - 100kb - and it looks like a tiny thumbnail. How do you all get those nice, big pics?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Plus, I know Stone loves looking at scans!

Thanks a lot, fellas.

  • I use a Epson V100 scanner. I use Photoimpression software to scan, crop and resize the scan to 40% and the resulting scan is usually less than 100kb. Scans come out very clear.

Mine are all 60kbs and they look ok. I pull them right out of my pictures file.

I also have an Epson V100 scanner (which I love). It automatically scans in 300 dpi. I then resize PSA cards to 4.5 vertical or horizontal (depending on the stype of the card), and reduce to 150 DPI. The cards are then saved as medium file size (right in the middle - 5 out of 10). The cards are usually 90+ kb, so it's about as big and hi res as you can get them. Hope that helps. Oh and I use Photoshop.

The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."
