Is there a way to remove tape/tape stains from older cards ????

I know its not a great card...but maybe if I can clean it up. If anyone knows how to do it...let me know or PM me
Thanks

I would keep it as is. If you pull back the tape, you could lose some paper with it.
Sorry and best of luck.
edited out really bad grammar due to smoke
btw...years back a guy did advertise in the sport card news about being able to remove nearly any stain from any card without any noticeable detection afterwards. It was expensive about $100.
personnaly I would leave it alone...I don't think you can increase the value by removing the tape.

keep it the way it is.

I think if you tried to remove the tape you would destroy what is left of the card...
Taking the tape off takes the card from a set filler to almost worthless. Never going to be a lady, just enjoy what you have. Your 56 mantle is better than mine!

After the lighter fluid soaks in pull the tape very slowly and evenly. Good luck.
