Dane Cook MLB commercials....

Why did MLB decide to get Dane Cook to do all the commercials ? He talks about th games in his stand up style of speach and it makes me laugh. I have to think all of the MLB chairmen where sittin around smokin a blunt and deciding who the silliest person they could get to do the promos. Seconds later they decided to get Frank Thomas to commentate.

Odd choice to me as well. Most comedians are not household names these days and, while I think Dane is brilliant, I would have to think he has a pretty narrow appeal. Then again, perhaps this was specifically an attempt to appeal to younger viewers.

Nah, that card is long gone so I got nothin but love for Frankie Boy, he just has a 3 second gap between brain and mouth.
  • Dane Cook is brilliant? Since when? He says absolutely nothing funny, and the only things he does say that are mildly amusing are direct ripoffs from other, more talented comedians.

His commercials (like his stand up) are garbage.
