According to Mike and Mike on ESPN no national league team has ever come back in the best of five playoffs after being down 0-2.
It has happened in the American League before.

    That's wrong. In 1984 the Padres beat the Cubs in the NLCS (at the time best-of-five; would change to best-of-seven the next year) after being down 0-2.
