Finally ripped that A&G Hobby box

Terrible rip.
The two guaranteed "pulls" were a freaking Nick Swisher Bat and Marcus Giles Jersey/Pants....whatever. Sucked.
Did NOT get any of these: Dice-K, Wang, Pujols, Bonds, Bazooka backs, rip card, ink, N43, anything else worth a crap.
I got 3 blah black borders. Pinella, Robinson Cano, and someone else. Got one no-number mini...some common. I forget who. And an A-Rod "Road to 500", 252. Oh, and a regular Mantle.
I know a lot of you will say that a rip like that is not an uncommon thing, but I guess I got lucky on my first box.
SOOOO.....two retail boxes, two blaster, and two hobby boxes in........one ink (baffert), no bazooka, 2 no numbers (Matsui, and a common), no rip cards, no good black border minis, and 4 low-end relics.
The sad part is that I'm probably going to buy another one today.
Lastly, the night wasn't a total bust, as I pulled out an '83 Fleer Rack to rip and got another Sandberg (although it wasn't centered particularly well). I've had HUGE luck with those. I'm the guy that's been buying those $7.00 ones on eBay with free shipping. I've opened five racks, and pulled: 2 Sandbergs, a Boggs, a Ryan, and a Gwynn (amongst lots of HOFers). Not too bad.

<< <i>Sorry about the crappy box. The one hobby box that I bought also sucked. Two common relics, no ink or rip card, and only one no number mini. So I'm guessing the box topper was a National Pride. Which one?

Didn't open it, but I can see through it. USA.

<< <i>What would you need for it? I am trying to put a set together for some reason. I know it's worthless and I am probably the only person doing it but I like them for some reason.

Whatever fair market value is I guess. I have no idea.

<< <i>Looks like they are going for $4.00-$4.50 delivered on eBay. Are there any cards you are looking for? Let me know and I'm sure we can find a fair trade.

Pretty much any decent black border minis (although I don't know how much they go for), particularly Biggio.
Black minis w/#: 21, 81, 92, 225, 230
Black minis No #: Carlos Lee (152 SP), Bobby Abreu (275)
Let me know what you would need. Unfortunately none of them are Biggio. And there is always the cash option if these don't do it for you.

That wasn't a good rip, but I'd say it's about par. The three hobby boxes I broke were like that. Best I got was a Papelbon auto. I fared MUCH better on blasters, even the crunky ones from Meijer.
You know, 2006 boxes have dropped in price... I'm getting the urge to break one of those bad boys again.

<< <i>Man... you waited so long to rip that box that I could almost make a joke about waiting until the wedding night!

Well, technically I'm waiting on that too. LOL! (Seriously though, I am...)
I ordered another Hobby Box today.

I hear A&G does this to people!!! BOL w/ the new box.
<< <i>Did Baffert go into the permanant collection?

yeah, I think so for now. If I sell it, this forum will be the first to know.
