Going to the Middle East

All,

I just rcvd surprise orders that I'm heading to the middle east. I leave Sunday.

I've been in talks with a lot of folks regarding trades and the like. If I don't respond, it's not because I'm ignoring you.

I will not have a chance to check the boards for AT LEAST a year, possibly longer.

Thanks for all the info and fun you guys and gals have provided me over the past few years.

been to that hole more than once-stay off the roads,they cant shoot for chit, chickens just blow ya up with a booby trap. i.e.d. now , same thing diff name,all generations get diff names for thier wars to water them down more and more ,,just like ww1 shell shock- ww2 and korea combat fatigue and battlefield exastution,nam, post traumatic stress disorder,still the same as of today,they ever start up the draft again guys woulnt have to stay in the sandbox for 2-3 tours-weve only had the draft since beginning of country,time to start it up again, teach some of these punks some respect real quick!!!

I'll actually be on a very small ship doing patrols. We don't have that luxury.

And for those who asked, I volunteered for this over a year ago and finally got my chance today. It's a little short notice, but I've had to live with worse.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I doubt I'll be able to get back on again before I leave, and if I don't - once again thanks and take care...and GO SOX!

But most of them were really Chairborne Rangers, 5th Armchair Division, Fort Livingroom.

Ray, I've had my turn over there recently and while you definitely won't be able to check the boards daily, the PSA site DOES work on the Govt computers over there..Now ebay and/or any fantasy sports sites you might use are a different story..lol..But the PSA site and message board does work if you find the time.

aint that the truth kerrys 2 years turned out to be 3 months and 3 purple hearts he issued himself,lol-he just wanted out asap
hes still there though, in the nva museum in saigon as a war hero along with hanoi jane

lol-aint that the truth, yer chairborne rangers are in the pentagon sitting in desks polishing chairs with azz from time in to time out

a locksmith just worked on my door the other day that i kinda broke the knob somehow,he was just over there cracking safes in falluja for army for a year , stuff that the didnt want blown up by c4 or torch,said he found a ton of cash in safes and documents,he was about my age,was a marine in nam too,so i guess that helped him get a job asa civilian safecracker-he was in safe places there though in old bunkers and tunnells underground they had already secured,didnt have to travel the roads or anything like that

I have a friend right now that is somewhere out there under the oceans , he is on the USS Jack a nuclear sub out of Groton CT.

I have another friend in the Marines that no-one is really sure what he does, he comes and goes all the time and never lets you know he was gone until he gets back home .

He never really gives too many details either .

My friend on the Nuclear sub never tells me much either , I ask him so many questions about the boat and I never get any answers

I suppose most of the information should not be shared , Like How deep it will dive , or how fast , how many nuclear tipped warheads ?
Stuff like that . . .

Well, I'm back in the saddle until at least spring. Come to find out they don't me until then...which is good for me because hopefully the little one will be sleeping through the night by then.
